How To Read Your Score

Aavya's recommendation thresholds.

42–50 Move forward. This is a vendor worth building a relationship with. 35–41 Test order only. Some red flags — start with a small order before scaling. 25–34 Proceed with caution. Real concerns. Only worth it if pricing is exceptional or you have a backup vendor lined up. Below 25 Walk away. Save your money. The risk isn't worth the reward.
Pro Tip

Score every vendor before the relationship matters.

Once you've ordered a few times and they know your name, you'll be tempted to overlook problems. Score honestly during the test order, then check back annually — the vendor that was a 45 last year might be a 32 now.
